fire - stone

ill watch from the window two bodies freezing in the cold smoke from cigarettes another from his lungs two bodies shifting pretending speaking with pretty lies they were two stone walls guarding there heartevery passing nightbut they asked to be built " not to far apart"watchers from the windows could tell it wasn't meant to be but she liked to play with fire he liked to feel the heatjust two bodies cold as stoneone was thawing the other had been frozen for far too longshe handed him fire to burn down his wallshe gave her ice; to keep hers standing tall.k
