Fire And Gold

Location

Fire burning in my heart,
Round about,
No end or start,

And if I perish
in the end,
At least I know I had a friend,

Nowhere to run,
Nowhere to hide,
It seems I’m tied to all my lies

Held beneath this wicked earth,
And if I am please show my worth,
For everyday I’m bought and sold,
Not for things that I behold,

But for my hidden heart of gold.
