The Fine Line Between Cute and Creepy

You know if you think about it

What I do for you, this writing,

Would be hella creepy

If you didn’t like me.

I hope what I see is real

If not, then again

This would be hella creepy

And a little embarrassing,

But I’m willing to play the fool

In order to see what could be...

The story of a life time,

You know doesn’t begin with a once upon a rhyme;

It begins with a hello, such a simple phrase

Yet it has the ability to empower

Someone like me in order to buy

Something as precious as your time.

All of which sparks a quest for your heart,

The greatest treasure of all;

For it does not appeal to the beauty of the eye,

But it is exalted by the wonders of the mind,

Which can only be relayed through the story of one's life.

My story may not have a dragon to slay

Or people to save,

But it has brought me to you,

So it must be something special...

Or I could be succumbing to my madness

And this is all a delusion.

If so, upon waking from this dream

I'd find myself to have crossed the fine line between cute and creepy.
