Finally, We Meet...

Location

The ground cracked and the sky opened up,

the breeze filled with embers as feathers fell like snow.

          He caught her before she hit the ground to plummet down below.

Newly blue and violet meet for the first time since the turn;

          rose petals and cherry blossoms finally give into the yearn

of centuries of waiting and dozens more of want

          and finally the pair of them no longer has to hunt.

She smiled at him and he grinned at her, both glad they never gave up.
