Finally

Faded looks and stupid answers.

What I should have said.

And I still feel bad.

All along I thought you knew,

 But You watched yourself,

 and just pushed through.

Time is taking its toll on us,

Yeah it’s growing old on us,

And I am still not sure about you.

What will you say?

And what will you do?

I can’t be sure, and neither can you.

When the mind travels,

It takes us places we don’t want to go.

When life stops,

It shows us what we didn’t already know.

We have given up everything,

And it’s paying off… finally.
