All day

The filter is up

Every day

"What if I'm not perfect enough?"

My makeup must be 'on point'

That perfect angle must be found

Fake smiles are my filter

They have to think I'm from around

I'm not like the others

Sometimes the projection screen falls

to reveal that I'm imperfect

They all act so appalled

As if the same has never happened

to them..

I like myself

No filter up

I think I'm better

Happiness can fill my cup

when there is no layer between

It and

I

Rip

the

Filters

down

Natural beauty

No more screens

We need to appreciate ourselves

Oops, I spilled the beans!

None of us are perfect

We are merely concealing

the imperfection that makes us.

Our society needs healing

Girls

Boys

Mothers

Fathers

Addicts

Throwaways

Lost

Disturbed

You are perfect
