Filled to the Brim
Hunger built inside me, dwelled in my very being.
My hungry eyes searched scornfully
I could see it
Far away, yet so near
The palpable scene of scrumptious desserts
Luxurious cheesecakes, apples, and cakes ignited the seeking beast
Further down graced the presence of dinner
Shimmering in the flood of light continued the feast,
As it stretched to the end of the table
It was time to eat
It was time to devour to my fill
Yet I knew the painful truth
I would not finish to satisfy my wish
Because I was full on the second dish
