Sometimes I think about
what i'd be like
if I didn't have a bug in my brain.
I wonder who i'd let
touch me.
I wonder who
I'd call at night,
who i'd whisper,
big dreams
wide-eyed
to.
Who i'd let touch me.

The answer
is:
no-one.
Without the bug,
I wouldn't exist.
The bug and I
seem to be one in the same.
We need each other,
much too much.
The bug is my friend.
My only one.
