A father's dedication to his son

I seen you take your first breath
At the hospital where you were born
I've seen you take your last
And every since, I mourn.

I've seen you take your first step
And no two were alike.
I've seen you take your last
As you jumped up on that bike

I've seen you smile so big
It lit up the whole room
Your sadness did the same
Made everyone so gloom

I've seen you in love
Your heart upon your sleeve
No truer love your daughter
The day she was conceived

I've seen you take your first breath
A joyous day for sure
I've seen you take your last
A sadness I'll always endure

This poem is about:
My family

My son recently died on a motorcycle wreck. I think about him a lot of times. This was my dedication to him
