Far From Home
A world full of doubt, skies clouded.
Roads do not seem clear, yet we still continue driving.
Through the fog, aiming towards our destination,
is it okay to become lost?
Knowing where to go, stubbornly venturing elsewhere.
I feel the need to ask for directions.
I am in too deep, afraid no one is able to pull me back.
Afraid I cannot pull myself back.
Can I not push past the thick barrier?
Will I ever tread back onto the main road?
Please, take me home.
To the place I feel safe.
Away from the demons, away from the storm.
I just want to go home.
