Far away / Abu Karim

Willing to go away far I kept my hand

in your palm,

but no the way tiredness has seized

and made me calm.

Night has fallen around with

the screams of cricket sound;

fearful desolation in a bleak time

is appearing all around.

I have never put on any sign

on the isle of your hair;

I have never adorn your hands

with beautiful bangles,

yet you had been in my heart.

Now at this late hour of life

negligence is unbearable;

my heart feels asunder;

my path has been strewn

with pointed thorns.

A tired wayfarer I am lying

disappointed   on the path,

do not know where to go

how far away.
