Father lost his job due to illness

Mother at her desk

Mother gets no sleep

I went to work

I took odd jobs

Dog sat

Baby sat

Drove people before and after school

Foreign exchange student in my bed

Sold things on Ebay

Mother said we need to pay

Bills - electricity, phone, water due!

Rent - past due

Groceries - no food this week

Insurance - Dad’s heart medicine

Hospital Payments - Dad’s surgery

Now 19 I sit at the computer and pay

For college

For medical bills

For anything that mom needs help with

Father has never been the same

He’s still sick

Money made me grow up

I am responsible and mature now

I help my family

This is how I show love
