Why do we doubt

why do we fear

why do we change

the way we go from here

 

what's holding us back

what's keeping us down

why don't we take the time to

stop, and slow down

 

no we choose to drown

no we choose to fall

we don't look around

or help ourselves at all

 

we need to grow up

we need to get real

to take off our shoes

get on our knees and kneel

 

we need to confess

learn to forget
