The Fall

Following the serpent, she deadend her heart

the promise he offered enticened her ears;

Sin versus moral, “she couldn’t tell apart”.

Quotations mark lies, it was Truth who she feared

Red as the lips of the now distant lover,

The apple stared into the pits of her soul

paragon of evil, awareness was a dearth

2 knew of poison  heralding  the fall

"Just one small bite"; that's all she would have

Just one small bite, that's all that would kill

A glance of approval, doubts entered Eves heart

With one rebel gesture, she lost her own will

Defiance and evil shouldn’t tasted so good

but that was not the end, no, just a new dawn

She parted with her groom disobedience and taste

With the sharing of fruit, became the sharing of death

Yes the sharing of fruit, became the sharing of death
