The Fall

August Forster

Written 10/3/16

The Fall

Hearts break, winds soar.

Souls taken, life's a war.

Cries heard, sirens ring.

Shredded dreams no human being.

Diamonds dull,metal bent.

No love, every wish spent.

Streaming light, piercing calls.

Nothing new, night falls.

Roaring upward,taking pain.

Stolen kisses, hate to gain.

Poor world, evil smiles.

Hard to take, been a while,

Tears to fall,red eyes.

Too close to say goodbye.

Throbbing wounds, stinging whines.

You'll speak too soon.

Your out of time.
