Face the mirror

I cry inside,

mourning the tears that won't come.

I wont deny that I've lied,

but we were so dumb.

To think we were safe anywhere.

That the words we whispered were secret.

That the lies we said were just that and would stay there.

But in the emptiness all there is is regret.

For the hurt and the lies

For the truth and goodbyes

Because in the dark all there is is yourself.

In your loneliness you must face the mirror.
