Facade

Location

I wish I were like Esther

The beautiful daughter of God

I wish I had her courage instead of this Facade

I'm so full of fire,

Burning with desire

To set these people free.

If this light dies within me

I know I never shall be free.

Like a bird with clipped wings

Jumping, hopping frantically

The brilliant colors of my life

Would fade into black and white

I wish I were like Esther

Living in courage not Facade

I wish I could be like

The beautiful daughter of God

Esther had the courage to do what was right. She didn't know it at first, but her cousin kept encouraging her. Everyone needs an encourager. Stand for what you believe is right and be like Esther
