The Eyes of A child

This was written a couple years back for a child that was brought into my life through the fostercare system. She had a lot of health problems, but my family and I took her in and nursed her back to help. I noticed everything through this child and she made me change my life she made me want to be better than what others thought about me.

Three months old very sick,
someone call the doctor quick,
seems like she's barely breathing holding on,
God Please help the Child Be Strong,
My Mind is wondering Keeping Pace,
I seem to Just wonder out of this place,
the Doors are opening i'm walking through,
Lord I'm Heading Straight to you,
On my Knees as I Pray,
Lod God PLease don't Take her, don't take her away,
I'll go anywhere,Do anything this is the Song my heart would Sing,
feeling tears running down my face and i'm thinking..

In the eyes of a child there is joy, there is laughter
There is hope, there is trust, a chance to shape the future
For the lessons of life there is no better teacher
Than the look in the eyes of a child

Almost two years Later and She's just like me,
Man it's Crazy Just to see
how all this time She's been watching me,
Hands in the Air Spinning around
Tossing in the Air Finally hitting the Ground
Seeing that Smile across Her face,
I thank God She's Still in this place
The roads been long we're finally Here
Giving her Up my greatest fear,
She's always been apart of me,
And I'm apart of her and now I see.

In the eyes of a child there is joy, there is laughter
There is hope, there is trust, a chance to shape the future
For the lessons of life there is no better teacher
Than the look in the eyes of a child

God I thank you for the Chance you gave me to See it for myself,
Without her and my Mom I don't know what Else I'd have Left,
One Big lesson that I've learned Never take this things for granit
cause in a moment things Could,In a Moment things Could Change
And I Thank you for the rain And the Sun it Shines So Brightly,
And I know it's crazy just to hear the fact that she's just like me
cause..
In the eyes of a child there is joy, there is laughter
There is hope, there is trust, a chance to shape the future
For the lessons of life there is no better teacher
Than the look in the eyes of a child
