Happy.

 

Internally, 

Anxious.

Impatient.

Consumed by dark thoughts.

Forever worried.

 

From first glance you witness her beauty

Beautiful brown skin, 

Nice frame

And to top it off a big smile plastered on her face

 

But look deeper,

Look closer,

Scars on her arms,

Bite marks,

Things that never fade

 

In the spotlight she has it all

She is jovial, pleased with life

 

But behind the curain lurks her inner thoughts

The side of her that is not so pretty

The side of her that eats up her spirits,

Floods her with stress,

And makes her feel like her issues are insignificant in the grand scheme of things

When people who are struggling with more seroius things than depression,

Who suck it up without the smallest complaint

How could she complain about something so minor

Compared to much more major situations?

 

The cutain conceals her

And she wouldn't want it any other way

It conceals a temporary state of mind

 

The hunger she has for hapiness will be fed,

Eventually.
