What has been taught by poetry?
I have learned much about the person called me.
I have learned how to express myself creatively.
I have learned how to set my thoughts free

Poetry has helped me let my emotions out.
It helps me when I need to shout.
It helps me express what I'm sad about.
It helps me expression why I'm filled with doubt.

Poetry keeps me from going insane.
Pouring my heart out like the fallen rain.
Giving myself a life to maintain.
Without poetry I don't think life would be the same.
