Expectations

Expectations are always hard to bare

For they are the pressure that holds us

To be set in one place and time

To never move forward on our own time

Expectations so high to reach

Never there within our grasp

But what if we fall short?

What if we aren't there?

What if we have our own expectations?

Expectations are so hard to bare

For they are always there

Never in reach

Always there to preach

The fear that lays there for defeat

The fear to disappoint

The fear that we are never good enough

I am my own expecation

But is my own execptation good enough to move

Am I good enough to reach there?

Your expectation isn't there for me, its there for you

To make me another you

Stop your expectations, your demands

THIS IS MY LIFE

This life isn't your expectation anymore

This life... this life is mine.
