Eviction is near

moving closer and closer

by each dollar bill.

We’re losing our grip

on our beautiful home.

It’s slipping away.

Tears of stress flow down

my mom’s beautiful rose cheeks.

This gets me upset.

It feels like my fault

that we’re gonna be homeless,

because I can’t help.

I wish I could help

in anyway possible.

To get some money.

I don’t wanna live

on the cold, horrible streets

with my family.

There is nothing

I could ever do, at all,

for my family.

This poem is about:
Me
My family
