Everywhere

Walls may be thick

but the voices are louder.

The sobs of a child

bellow through the door,

Sending pain through my heart

like I’ve lost my own soul.

I wish I could say

that it will all be okay.

Oh life would be grand

if the tears would be band.

But life has its bumps,

Its flaws come in clumps.

We cannot wish problems weren’t there,

because It is always waiting,

Everywhere.
