Sleeping within waves

Her thoughts drift by-

The sea encompasses her

A soothing blue blanket

Calm, content, secure.

With each ebb and flow she sways

Like a child being cradled to sleep.

Finally feeling at peace

Here she is safe.

Her hair spread across the pillow like

A starfish upon the ocean floor.

She dreams of riding on the backs of whales

While sleeping within waves

Resting inside a sea of creativity.
