An Eternity Spent Dreaming

The child crawls, then stumbles , then walks
The priest equivocates further
The parents pay the rent
And an eternity passes by

Every feels guilty
No one knows why
Love is outmoded
Teachers teach
Lawyers lie

Judges play God

Death weaves on it’s loom

Children act the fool
The simply old are christened Elders
The work gets done
And an eternity has passed
Has the train left the station,
Yet?
