Envy

They all stare

Watching closley with determined eyes.

"Why must she be so good?" They say,

Hopefully she fails some day.

They smile at her, wave even,

Behind it all is a wish

A wish that one day they can bethrone her.

Her perfection didn't come easy

Years of failure and teasing.

She laughs when they stare

If only they knew their jealousy kept her there.

Only there to bring her down,

Proudly she wears that crown.

As their eyes keep rolling,

Keep your head up so they see your crown glowing.
