A barren wasteland of
Broken and burnt memories
Of a world full of nouns
To create, it had taken centuries.
To destroy, it had taken seconds.
A single command was given
And within moments, the Earth was
Demolished, as a result of hate-driven
People with a veil over their eyes
Of prejudice, judgement, hate, pride.
Sure, there were treaties and commissions
But nobody really tried.
Not that it matters,
Now that there’s nothing left
Peace has been stolen, but there’s
No one to report the theft.
