enchained

From my mind enchained

I spill the words you read

From memories I've forgotten

Too long it's been since I've

Opened the door to these words,

These memories of memories

I share to you, in hopes you'll realize

That my mind in agony

Can only remember things

That have the very key to my chains

And won't allow me to break free

No matter how hard I twist and pull

These remembering recollections drop the key into a pit of my own fire.
