Electric Boy

Let our separate skins fizz,

Just once. On my pinky toe or my

Elbow. Or the inside of my knee.

Any touch you give sends me those sparks,

Tingling and mingling and

Singing and clinging to my fibers.

In the purest blue at the center of the sky,

Your eyes are quintessentially colored.

Succulent, stolen strawberries

Glisten like your lips.

See brilliant flashes of summer heat lightning,

Enflame the night.

You’re electric, you know.
