Standing up is not easy,

Especially when people treat you differently,

For me,

Finding my voice was easy,

All the kids were hungry and bony so, 

I knew watching then grow would be better then watching them close the casket slow,

A summer feeding program is just what they need,

Some where everyone can eat,

The way I use my voice is unique,

Present then speak,

After telling the right people,

Things started to fly like an eagle,

Now think if I didn’t speak,

Then these kids weren’t able to eat,

That’s what makes speaking up easy,

Knowing you made a difference and prevented a death completely.
