Earthly Things

I enjoy these seasons,

and this time and this life,

The sun and the moon's-

shared Siamese twin light.

Upon a galaxy spinning,

seeming to be in flight,

above endless seas we swim in,

of endless cosmic delight.

Oh, but I love these seasons!

The winter's sting,

and summer's wind.

These kindly, Earthly things-

helps my spirit to unfold,

Like a lotus blossom of a trillion petals.
