A love never foreseen

Enemies with no faces

Acclamation and criticism

Come from all sorts of places

When a new mother burrows into his heart

And her daughter’s beauty eclipses the sun

His father comes knocking with unwanted news

And his brother degrades him and ruins his fun

As time passes

And the world exits antiquity

Words become spears and swords

And a battle wages on with unmanageable inequity

A new star in the darkness

A hope that once faded away

From student and merchant
