The Eagle

Eagle, Eagle flying by

won't you come to stay tonight

no, you won't come without sacrifice

without due fight

You fly just above the reach of man

for they cannot decide where they stand

a turning sea of chaos

you fly off

There is no place to rest your feet

for one must face defeat

the other victory

In this sea there is no peace

and if there would be

it would not be free

The Eagle shall keep flying by

even through the night

until we get it right

No matter how long it may be

no man can ever keep peace

for it seems

it does not belong to he

Fire fire of desire

yes the thirst for power

is why the day shall not arrive

where the Eagle ceases to fly

Eagle Eagle flying by

won't you be still tonight

as said in vein

for man cannot obtain

only to hope

someday
