Drowning: A Watery Grave

Sometimes I just want to breathe water.
No, I don't mean I want to breathe underwater
With the fancy gills and devices to help me do so.
I actually want to breathe in water.

I want water to fill up my lungs and suffocate me.
Sometimes I just don't want to take in another breathe of air.
I want to walk into the nearest lake, ocean, or even fall into a really deep pool.
I just don't want to breathe air anymore.

For me, falling in line seems like the best thing to do when marching to the sea.
I want to fall off the edge of the earth and live for once.
Underwater, I can do that.
I'll struggle and have my heart pumping for once;

It'll be a whole new experience for me.
I won't last very long,
But I will  have the weights strapped on tightly
Because I can't afford to come back from my watery grave.
