Drowning in Chaos Alone
It hits me like waves.
Each battering me back down to the ground.
Underneath me sand flows
Ensuring I have no solid foundation to stand
I'm drowning in an ocean of people
A maelstrom of complexity and chaos.
These emotions like jellyfish
Stinging the painful sting of reality.
The life vest of meds and therapy
Just keep my head above the darkness.
I've lost too many to this ocean, to the depths below
Never to see them again
