A drop of oil in a great blue sea

Location

Ever feel like you're the odd one out?

Going on the same path with a different route,

Hurt so bad, you want to scream and shout,

Pushed around and can't get up and about?

Trying different things that is said to be cool,

In reality, just making you look like a fool,

Because in the end, you were just used like a tool,

When your main focus should have been doing well in school.

Now you're drenched with tears of shame,

Cause all along you were just played like a game,

Perceived by many to be awkward and lame,

Slowly kindling more fire to the flame.

It's said, “no pain, no gain,”

Ironic, you only gained pain,

Wasted much time, with nothing attained,

Had much brains, but got washed down the drain.

Tears have dropped,

Your picture was cropped,

Ever feel like you're the odd one out?

Just a drop of oil in a great blue sea....
