A lost memory

a deep sleep

full of sirens' song

but what it spoke of,

none can recall.

sigh, and shake your head

brush away the dusk,

the dust of dreams

from your head and shoulders.

Death of Darkness

look up,

black ice begins to melt

the silence stabbed by sparrow beaks

the stars have faded,

the meltdown, escaladed

from ice, a pond of navy blue,

a streak of red,

the night is dead

alas, all just a memory
