growing up as a little girl

I imagined myself as a doctor

I would close my eyes

and day dream

dream of what it would be like to be successful

how would it feel to walk in to that small room

and talk to my patient

giving them the help they need and making that difference

seeing the smile on their face 

as i say hello 

My name is Dr. Jackson 

then opening my eyes and feeling as if i saved someones life

now that im older i realize

I have to give this my all

hard work and dedication

cant forget my education

i have to make it and do my dream job

i can NOT live like this anymore

after all , this is what i want to be

mama used to always tell me

a dream without a plan is nothing but a wish

it might not be easy

but im ready for the challenge

One Job May Change My Life

then i can save others lives too

and i wont have to dream
