Late at night, as I study

I wonder what it is I want to be

As the Bio terms become fuzzy,

I decide M.D. is what I want people to call me.

I want to poke and examine and listen

As patients tell me what feels bad.

To finally reach my full ambition,

And grateful to the long schooling I had.

Or maybe I'd study bacteria

And become an expert on how they grow.

Study acute contagious diphtheria

Oh! The things I would have to know!

As I continue to daydream

I wonder what might come next

My dream is closer than it seems

But first I must pass this Bio test
