I wake up in my dreams in the dark
Get out of bed and I take a walk
Hear a heart beating
Trying to find the meaning
The beat stops when I speak
I stay quiet and try to seek
It gets louder and louder and suddenly stops
I open my eyes and its seven o'clock
Time to go to school
And see some kids drool
Spanish, math, two classes done and four to go
Religion, history, a sudden awareness I feel from head to toe
The bell rings then it disappears
English, Biology, the beat from my dreams I hear in the right side of my ear
The beat turns into words
I'm going crazy, this is absurd
I turn left when my heart goes right
I cant think straight so I decide to write
The rest of the day is still a blur
Until I reach the safety of my covers.
