The Double-Mirror Freeverse by: Jaay Dee Kayy

My stepfather once told me that life is like a double mirror,

You can only see yourself, but everyone else sees you,

No matter what you do, they can still see you,

No matter what, you're always the center of attention,

That's only if they pay attention, the middle child never really gains attention,

Especially when there is four other kids and one is autistic,

Another is sickly...

So in life I see a double mirror and I think of his words,

How you feel about yourself is always displayed to the world,

And when you think it's only you, be reminded of this world,

That you can't see, but they will always see you and everything you do.
