Don't You Dare Mock Me Brother!

You don't understand
And no one ever will
Because that is what
they call impossible.

You see me as I am
And know what I do
When I pace back
and forth and detatch
myself from the grip
that this dark world
has on me. but you
still do not seem to
comprehend just
how distant I am
from this place in
which we live.

You mocked me
brother.

You mocked me with
your actions that reiterate
the way that you see me,
but not the way that I see
myself, or was seeing
myself before you
disturbed me from
my absence.

Don't you dare
mock me brother!

You can't understand
this even though at times,
I think you do.

But you don't
get the intensity of
it and the way in which
it pushes me past the boundaries
of comprehension.

I don't want to leave the place
that you have found me in
so don't you dare mock me
brother!

It is a disorder
Not a mistake
And I need it
in my life so
don't mock
me brother.

I must dream.
