He haunts me in my dreams.

Slowly follows

Never stops

Yet never closer gets.

He cries in ghastly tongues

Silent screaming

Pierces the night

Yet never makes a sound

Can you smell the man in black?

He stinks of gore and death.

Rotting corpse

And slaughtered meat

Yet never smells the same.

Can you feel the man in black?

Not a one can say he has

So many have

And many will

Yet none will live to tell
