Divided We Are, United We'll Be
Although we are seen as grand,
Our politics are full of remorse
Nothing we do ever goes through
Each individual runs his own course.
Now could you imagine a place,
Where opinions aren’t scoffed at or berated
No one would pry where your loyalties lie
And a membership would not get you hated.
Perhaps we must look past the parties
And make flexible our decisions.
Don’t wave a hand at the way others stand
And begin to consider their visions.
Instead of divided masses
Determined to fight to the end
We can unite in what is right
With elephants and donkeys as friends.
