Dissonant
She is smart, you say.
She is mature,
She is strong,
She is still,
She is calm,
She is silent.
Au contraire, I laugh.
For I am guileless,
I am a child,
I am weak,
I am mercurial,
I am a torrent,
I am screaming.
Would that you come closer,
Trace with your fingers the cracks in my façade
And understand
That I am an un-composed symphony
A collection of notes with no harmony.
And I am dissonant.
