Discretion

To be honest,

I was wrong when you called this a broken promise

And I told you it was not

And that we could never stop

When I said that we could be

Happily

Together

Even though you still said never

I guess I filled my head with way too much depression

You Saw through all my kinds of discretion

I've kept it all imbedded

I knew where it was headed

But I guess I never said it

Cause I thought you would’ve read it..

I saw you as an angel from the sky

And I said that you were mine

Thought you were so divine

When we poured that glass of wine

And I said that you were kind

Always kept you in my mind

The treasure of what I find

And this girl of my rhymes

Taking up all my lines

Not a waste of my time

And the prime of my pride

So I cannot hide

These feelings that divide me,

On an artistic spectrum

My heart filled affection
