because I really don't know what I'm doing 

I think I should make it clear 

that I am not

at all 

a poet. 

These are just words 

and I am just a girl 

and you are just a reader 

and we are all just people. 

But maybe all these people  

and all these readers  

and even the not-really-a-poet girl 

need these words  

because we are the only ones  

that will think them 

and say them  

and write them 

and read them. 

and love them as they are.
