Different now, Different then

Different feelings, Different life

All I needed was a knife

Different now, Different then I just wanted it all to end.

I met a man dressed all in blue he said my name and said I would make it through.

The lights bright all above me, I heard a voice sharp and clear; a man I knew

filled with fear.

They grabbed me up and told me things, that maybe one day I would have wings.

But not today is what they said and sent me back from my death.

Different now, Different then, all I want to do is live.

I met a man dressed all in blue he smiled at me and said you made it through.

The light was bright, a smiling sun. I hear a voice full and clear; a man I know filled with cheer

Different now, Different then I'm so glad that I live.
