DESTINY
Destiny: by Paul Gray
The sounds of silence echo loud
Within my sleepy head
Awake it seems though darkened dreams
Have told that soon I'm dead
Doom's Specter may by chance perceive
My premature demise
I pray the day when grave we lay
Will take me by surprise
Be gone from me, don't let me see
Let futures lay untold
For love and hate will soon dictate
Where destinies unfold
This poem is about:
Me
