Dear Sadness,

You crumble my thoughts

then shatter them to pieces

You command my everything

with your rhythms and allusions

Steady words beat faster than your last breath

They come rushing to start a war

with your memories that still remain

in a special need to be forgotten place.

To the life that breathe back in to me

To the steady words that stopped me

from listening to you...

They stack their dead souls

in front of you as sacrifice.

As a sacrifice for the thinning words

that screams 'death'

The simplicity of your command is the air You tricked me

to last breathe.

But now your command is broken

and for sure my last breath still

wants you: as a home to live in, nest in

and forever sleep

in your comforting arms...
